COMAND - Synchronization of operational emergency situations in border region

Objective: implementing a system for management and coordination of emergency situations in cross-border region Maramures and Transcarpathia. This will increase prediction, operability and quality of the interventions performed in case of emergency situations (all situations that may damage goods and lives, such as fires, floods, car accidents or other accidents),
- establishment of an Integrated call center for emergency situation in Maramures and digitization of the emergency communication network in Transcarpathia. (now the units are using a non reliable analogue communication) Results:
- timely and quality transmission of news about disasters;
- permanent management of divisions, which are follow to the emergency situation place, working on the elimination of an emergency, and in solving administrative and managerial tasks;
- exchange of information between rescue units and other services interacting with the fire and rescue parts of the regions, in the future and beyond.
Innovation: The technical system that will be implemented will perform the exchange of information for the efficient and timely management of emergencies in the cross- border area, generated by: large-scale fires; aviation accidents, major pollution; search/rescue actions/ groups of lost people; avalanches/landslides; earthquakes; radiological risks; falls of objects in the atmosphere/cosmos; epidemics/epizootics/zoonosis, etc
