The main objective of the project is to improve the level of healthcare services for the citizens in the border area of Hungary and Ukraine through knowledge-transfer, capacity development and improvement of equipment. The aim of the CBC-OPERATION project is cooperation, education and knowledge-transfer with modern medical attendance and Minimally Invasive Surgery.
The project intends to create the necessary conditions for an adequate and high level health care service related to surgery with a special focus on modern medical attendance of wartime injuries. In order to improve the
healthcare services in the cross-border target area, the partners will implement the following activities and
approaches:
-enhacing the capacity of professional staff: exchange of experts, workshops, live videoscopic surgery - first steps of using minimal-invasive surgery methods in Trans-Carpathia;
-common protocols for gunshot injuries will be delivered, based on scientific library data and practical experiences of the partners;
-purchase of equipment;
Through modern methods and more effective equipment, better patient-care can be realized on both sides of the border. The minimally invasive surgery method improves
patient outcomes, such as fewer complications, shortens the hospital stays and overall recovery times.
