The project falls under the - Support of local culture and preservation of historical heritage.
There are most emotive stories throughout the history of the "lost" families. We would like to get back together through their descendants. In our project we succeeded thanks to our prior research in having the families get together in order to found each other again. It will be accomplished thanks to this project, joint research and the unique output of this project which shall be in a form of the historical context documentation at the national level, their gathering and creation of “The Ancestors Journey”

The places for the project realization were carefully chosen and they were closely connected even by the unique topic of the "lost" Slovaks and Ukrainians who were known for being hardworking and for spreading of their craft – mainly the tinker, glass-making and pottery into the surrounding regions and countries. The Slovaks are characterized by their moving culture and their crafts having their creative potential being seen at more of the involved places. There will be a reconstruction of a historical park in Ukraine founded also by the citizens of Liptovska Teplicka in Slovakia who left for Ukraine to find better life. In Hungary we contacted one of the five schools for Slovaks which is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary in the Zemplin region and contributes to the preservation of language and local cultural values. The whole project is about lost ancestors theme.

The project contains all the elements of the complex projects for rescuing the historical heritage. It starts with establishing the museum in Slovakia, continues with park reconstruction in Ukraine, in Hungary building the center for foreign citizens and finalized with the ethnographic center in all countries.
