Title of your project idea: Sustainable environmental management

Objectives of your project idea: The main objective is to secure the participation of citizens in preserving ecosystem and in decision making process related to the ecological issues. Specific objectives are 1) to collects, open and disseminate information on environmental indicators; 2) to raise awareness on environment protection and engage citizens in the process.

Expected results: 1. Sustainable development indicators will be measured and analyzed; 2. Access to the ecological data will be opened for citizens; 3. Citizens will be involved to the preserving the ecosystem through on-line tool; 4. Awareness of citizens will be raised; 5. New knowledge and skills on ecological issues will be received by project participants.

Target groups/final beneficiaries; Target group – citizens, tourist, visitors, foreign students, as they will receive information on factual environment state, new knowledge on interaction with ecosystem.

Main planned activities: Activity 1 Working meetings, Activity 2 Analysing and conducting of environment assessment of the city area, Activity 3 Ecological platform, Activity 4 Raising awareness, Activity 5 Study visits
