Title of your project idea: Promotion and support of local traditions and culture in the Ukrainian-Hungarian border region

Objectives: The overall objective of the proposed project is to preserve and valorize the local culture and traditions in the Ukrainian-Hungarian border region in order to create new tourist and culture products integrated in the offer of tourism destinations. The primary focus is to combine tangible and intangible culture elements that help demonstrate the diversity of folk culture in both region. 

Expected results: 1. Helping both regions use cultural heritage to increase their attractiveness and boosting local economies. 2. Cultural heritage made accessible to public. 3.New museums and cultural facilities created/developed.

Target groups: 1.Local museums and traditional houses of the region; 2.Local government, ngos, foundations; 3.Local craftsmen.

Main planned activities: 1. Implementation of infrastructural and maintenance works on the local cultural sites; 2. Support in organization of local traditional festivals and cultural events; 3. Promotion and marketing support for the local cultural sites.
