Approaching the end of the Programme, the so-called Second Phase Evaluation of the ENI CBC Hungary - Slovakia - Romania - Ukraine 2014-2020 Programme begins at the initiative of the Programme Bodies.

The analysis of the seven-year programme period is carried out by the Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives (CESCI). The activities of this Budapest-based association are aimed at decreasing the separating effects of the borders and promoting cross-border cooperation in Central Europe. Its tasks include many fields of cross-border cooperation, such as border studies, planning and programming, project development, institutional development, policy making and knowledge sharing.

As one of the strategic partners of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, CESCI has successfully carried out Second Phase Evaluations of several other cross-border programmes in the region. Based on this previous experience and methodology, the performance, effectiveness and efficiency of the HUSKROUA programme will be explored. In addition to reviewing programme documents and processing data from the monitoring system (INTERREG+) the work will involve desk research, GIS-based territorial analysis, interviews and online surveys.

The Lead Beneficiaries/Beneficiaries are kindly requested to support the work of CESCI with their response to ensure a successful evaluation.
