500,000 EUR were allocated for humanitarian projects from the remaining budget of ENI CBC Hungary - Slovakia - Romania - Ukraine 2014-2020 programme. The funds were allocated without a competition, through a direct award.

The Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme is launching the Call for Assessors to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals (as independent external assessors) to join the Programme’s Pool of Assessors. 

On 7th November 2023, management structures of the Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme, in collaboration with TESIM experts, will host an online Partner Search Forum. Due to numerous requests, we extended the deadline to register and submit project idea forms until 3rd November 2023.

With the launch of the Application Module, process of applying for VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme projects has become even more accessible and user-friendly. The application period is now open and runs until 20 December, 2023 CET for Small-scale Projects and Regular-Scale Projects without infrastructure budget line applications and until 14 March, 2024 CET for Regular-Scale Projects with infrastructure budget line and Large-Scale Projects.

Unofficial translations to national languages of the final approved Interreg A NEXT Programme document and final SEA Report are now available.

The Interreg Programme document for implementation of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Interreg VI-A NEXT Programme 2021-2027 was approved by the European Commission on 3rd of November, 2022. The Programme allocates 66 million EUR of EU funding from the NDICI (Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument) as well as from the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) sources. The launching of the first Call for Proposals is foreseen at the beginning of next year.

The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) is opening two job vacancies of Programme Manager in its headquarters in Budapest. The positions are based on a full-time contract under Hungarian law and one is for a definite period, until April, 2024 which might be prolonged and the other is for an indefinite period. In May 2022, TESIM prepared the Summary of Order No.590 as of June 9, 2021 about the exrecise of powers by the State Treasury Service in a special regime under martial law (with amendments).

The planning of the Interreg VI-A NEXT Programme between Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine for the period 2021-2027 has been finalized. The Interreg Programme was submitted to the European Commission on 1st of April, 2022.

On March 5, 2022 TESIM prepared a Summary of the Resolution of National Bank of Ukraine no.18 as of February 24, 2022.

The Joint Technical Secretariat with support of the TESIM experts is organising a series of on-line workshops in national languages for beneficiaries of the 1st and 2nd Calls for Proposals.

This is to inform all Beneficiaries implementing projects within the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 on the publishing of the updated version of the Project Implementation Manual (October, 2020 version) on the Programme’s website.

According to the Government Decree of the Slovak Republic no. 355 as of 4 June 2020, from 1 October 2020 all duties and competencies of the Slovak National Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 have been transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic to the Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic.

Annually, on September 21, we celebrate EC Day and remind citizens the benefits of cooperating and joining forces within EU cooperation programmes. 2020 is special - it marks 30 years since the start of Interreg that aims to encourage territorial cooperation across borders at the national and regional level.

The Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 issued a Guidance with regard to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on Programme funded projects.

The amount of requested EU funds in the 3rd Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 is 4.7 times higher than the available EU allocation of €17.3 million. A total of 369 applicants from eligible area of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine submitted 119 project proposals with the total requested amount of EUR 80.67 million.

The Joint Monitoring Committee approved the extension of the 3rd Call for Proposals until 27 February, 2020. The respective corrigendum to the Guidelines for Applicants was published on 5 February, 2020.

The Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 is launching the Call for Assessors to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to join the Programme’s Pool of Assessors. Those Assessors who are already in the Pool should not apply again.

The Joint Technical Secretariat with support of the TESIM experts organised on 12 November, 2019 in Nyíregyháza a workshop for lead beneficiaries of the 1st and 2nd Calls for Proposals. More than 70 participants from 46 projects selected within the 1st and 2nd Calls for Proposals attended the event.

The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) is opening two job vacancies of Programme Manager and Communication Manager in its headquarters in Budapest. Both positions are based on a full-time contract under Hungarian law and are for an indefinite period.

The Joint Technical Secretariat organised on 30 September and 1 October, 2019 in Prešov, Slovakia and Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine contract signing ceremonies for 6 cross-border cooperation projects that began implementation on 1 October, 2019. The 6 contracted projects with a total EU allocation of EUR 3.4 million were awarded in the 2nd Call for Proposals.

The Joint Technical Secretariat organised on 28-29 August 2019 in four participating countering a series of contract signing ceremonies for 10 cross-border cooperation projects that began implementation on 1 September 2019. The 10 projects with a total EU allocation of EUR 8.4M were awarded in the 2nd Call for Proposals in 5 priorities of the Programme.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 signed the first grant contract for implementation of a large infrastructure project awarded in the 1st Call for Proposals. The project with an EU allocation of EUR 3.71 million will be implemented from today, during 36 months by the Tisza River Basin Water Resources Directorate from Uzhhorod, in partnership with the Upper Tisza Regional Water Directorate from Nyíregyháza, Vynohradiv Interrayon Department of Water Management, Vynohradiv Rayon State Administration and the Public organisation “Ekosfera”.

The European Commission issued a decision on designation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary as Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020. This decision finally allows the Managing Authority to sign first grant contracts with grant beneficiaries awarded in the 1st and 2nd Call for Proposals.

Over 170 representatives of grant beneficiary organisations, national and regional authorities of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine, as well as other Programme stakeholders met on 21 March, 2019 in Nyzhnje Solotvyno, Ukraine at the Closing Conference of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENPI CBC Programme 2007-2013. The participants had the chance to sum up the main achievements of 2007-2013 programming period and discuss the results and impact of the Programme on 10 border regions of the Programme area.

The representatives of national and regional authorities of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine, members of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme, decided at their meeting in Nyzhnje Solotvyno, Ukraine on 20 March, 2019 to launch the 3rd open Call for Proposals for regular projects in the 2nd quarter of 2019.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, acting as Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020, approved the list of projects to be awarded in the 2nd Call for Proposals. The list includes 34 projects selected and recommended for award by the Joint Monitoring Committee during its 3rd meeting in Baia Mare, Romania on 12 July, 2018.

The Joint Technical Secretariat of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 signed on 4 July 2018 the financing agreements with Prešov Self-Governing Region and Košice Self-Governing Region for hosting of Programme’s Branch Offices in the Slovak Republic. Both Self-Governing Regions will provide the premises, equipment, facilities and devices which are necessary to operate the Slovak Branch Offices and perform its tasks. The Programme will be financing the personnel costs and travel expenses of both Branch Offices.

The representatives of national and regional authorities of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine, members of the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) of the Programme, selected for financing at their 2nd meeting in Košice, Slovakia on 24-25 April, 2018, five large infrastructure projects submitted within the 1st Call for Proposals with the total EU allocation of EUR 22 million.

The Chamber of Auditors of Ukraine, in assistance to the Ukrainian Control Contact Point of the Programme, launched a Call for Auditors in Ukraine with the purpose to pre-select independent external auditors for verification of expenditures declared by the grant beneficiaries in Ukraine.

The 137 project proposals submitted in the 2nd Call for Proposals have been subject to administrative and eligibility checks in the Step 1 of evaluation process, performed by the representatives of Managing Authority and Joint Technical Secretariat. The projects submitted by the lead applicants have been assessed according to the criteria indicated in the Guidelines for Applicants for the 2nd Call for Proposals.

The Joint Technical Secretariat is launching a Call for Application of Branch Office experts to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to become the Programme’s Slovak Branch Offices to be set up in the Košice and Prešov Regions.

The Joint Technical Secretariat (JTS) is currently seeking an experienced and capable individual with significant programme management experience for a challenging and exciting job. The Programme Manager of JTS will be responsible for the preparation of calls for proposals, assessment of project proposals and for the monitoring and control of the progress reports describing the implementation of the approved projects.

The Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme decided to extend the Call for Assessors launched on 13 December 2017 in order to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to join the Programme’s Pool of Assessors. Due to the insufficient applications received for setting up the Pool of Assessors, the deadline for submission of the Call for Assessors will be extended until 22 January 2018. Those applicants who already submitted their applications within this Call for Assessors should not resubmit their documents again.

The Joint Technical Secretariat is launching a Call for Application of Branch Office experts to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to become the Programme’s Ukrainian Branch Offices to be set up in the Іvano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattya regions.

The amount of requested EU funds in the 2nd Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 is four times higher than the available EU allocation of €22 million. A total of almost 500 applicants from eligible area of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine submitted 137 project proposals.

Following the closure of the 1st Call for Proposals on 15 November 2017 the Joint Technical Secretariat has held the opening session and registration of submitted applications. As result 9 grant applications have been submitted in the 1st Call for Proposals opened for Large Infrastructure Projects (LIPs).

The Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme is launching the Call for Assessors to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals to join the Programme’s Pool of Assessors. The Pool is set up for the period of 2017-2020 and will be updated, if needed.

The Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary, acting as the Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 issued the 3rd Corrigendum to the 2nd Call for Proposals modifying the deadline for online submission of applications to 30 November 2017, 23:59:59 CET.

The 2^nd open Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 launched on 17 May 2017 closes this Thursday, 30 November 2017 at 12:00 PM (noon), CET. The proposals are only accepted via the Online Application Module of IMIS 2014-2020. The Application Module will block the submission after the deadline.

The online application module of the Integrated Monitoring and Information System (IMIS) 2014-2020 for the applicants of the second Call for Proposals has been announced by the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020. The applications in the second Call for Proposals can be submitted only online via this application module of IMIS 2014-2020.

The Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary, acting as the Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 issued two corrigenda covering both the 1st Call as well as the 2nd Call for Proposals. The introduced changes provide the opportunity for the selected projects to retroactively reimburse the costs related to the infrastructure component​​​​​​. 

The Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary, acting as the Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 issued the 2nd Corrigendum to the 2nd Call for Proposals modifying the deadline for submission of applications to 30 November 2017.

The Prime Minister’s Office of Hungary, acting as the Managing Authority of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 issued on 31 August 2017 the 1st Corrigendum to the 2nd Call for Proposals. The Corrigendum modifies the Guidelines for Applicants of the 2nd Call for Proposals, mainly the deadline for online submission of applications is extended until 27 October 2017.

130 potential applicants from eligible regions in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine attended on 26 July 2017 the Partner Search Forum in Košice organised by the Joint Technical Secretariat with the support of TESIM project. Representatives of regional and local authorities, public organisations as universities, medical institutions, as well as non-governmental organisations had the opportunity to find suitable partners for the opened 1^st and 2^nd Calls for Proposals, and to start discussing together ideas and further steps for project development.

Over 120 high-level officials, local leaders and decision makers from eligible area of Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine met on 13 July, 2017 in the 18^th century early-baroque L'Huillier-Coburg Palace in Edelény, Hungary to give an official opening to the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020.

On 6 and 7 July the Joint Technical Secretariat organised with support of the TESIM project in Uzhhorod, Ukraine and Satu Mare, Romania two project preparation workshops for potential applicants within the ENI CBC Programmes. The workshops were based on interactive approach and included presentations, practical group work and plenary discussions delivered and moderated by Albert Sorrosal and Huseyin Akturk, TESIM experts.
 

From 27 June to 5 July the Joint Technical Secretariat organised in all 10 core and adjoining regions of the Programme area Info Days for potential applicants of the 1^st and 2^nd Calls for Proposals launched earlier this year. Around 500 participants from regional and local authorities, NGOs and other organisations from Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine attended the events.

The second open Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 has been launched by the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office acting as the Managing Authority (MA) of the Programme, the Slovak Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration and the Ukrainian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade acting as the National Authorities (NAs) of the Programme. 

The first open Call for Proposals of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross-border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 has been launched on 15 February 2017 by the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office acting as the Managing Authority (MA) of the Programme, the Slovak Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine acting as the National Authorities (NAs) in the Programme.
