5 July 2018 - JTS signs financing agreements for hosting Slovak Branch Offices

The Joint Technical Secretariat of the Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine ENI CBC Programme 2014-2020 signed on 4 July 2018 the financing agreements with Prešov Self-Governing Region and Košice Self-Governing Region for hosting of Programme’s Branch Offices in the Slovak Republic. Both Self-Governing Regions will provide the premises, equipment, facilities and devices which are necessary to operate the Slovak Branch Offices and perform its tasks. The Programme will be financing the personnel costs and travel expenses of both Branch Offices. 

In line with Article 27 of the ENI CBC Implementing Regulation (EC no. 897/2014) and the Joint Operational Programme document, the overall task of the Branch Offices will be supporting the Managing Authority and the JTS in the Programme’s communication, to provide information and promotion activities on the Slovak side in close cooperation with the JTS, reach eligible stakeholders as well as assisting the project evaluation and implementation follow-up and to foster good information links and exchanges with the eligible Slovak regional and local authorities.

The two Branch Office experts, Martina Slivková in Prešov Region and Barbora Kováčová in Košice Region, were jointly selected within an open call earlier this year by the Slovak authorities and the JTS to support the implementation of the Programme in the eligible territory of the Slovak Republic.
